About Us

No.8 Tours - New Zealands Senior Travel Club was established by Andy and Sarah Somerville in 2008.

Andy, the son of a farmer, grew up on a 16,000-acre hill country station in the Wairarapa region.
Sarah grew up in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, born into a family of entrepreneurs her parents eventually becoming successful accommodation providers throughout the North Island.


No.8 Tours began by providing tours for the cruise ship industry and quickly diversified to speacialise in day and multiday excursions for the senior community throughout New Zealand.


No.8 Tours have grown through hard work and a successful formula to be one of New Zealand’s largest travel clubs for seniors.

Our goal is to provide regular, high quality excursions that are social and interesting it is our intention to provide an unrivaled tour experience. This is based around genuine old fashioned service and a caring attitude to all our clients and Travel Club Members.
